DiSC Profile

I'm a longtime believer in the DiSC Model by Wiley. It's a simple, yet powerful model that describes four basic behavioral styles:

(D) Dominance (i) Influence (S) Steadiness (C) Conscientiousness.

Each person has a unique behavioral profile with different styles and priorities and I believe these differences can be extremely valuable. Once you assess these differences, better workplace communication and healthier organizations become possible.

My DiSC profile is mostly 'i' – extroverted, enthusiastic, talkative, energetic, and I bring a certain sense of excitement to the room. I’m very much a “people person” and thrive on collaborating with others and understanding their points of view. Clear and open communication is a must for me! I’ve been told I’m a great listener and have a very high emotional intelligence (EQ); I find I’m often able to relate to others in a deeper emotional way than most. I'm a natural-born leader and love helping people succeed.

I’m an ENFJ, The Protagonist.

Protagonists are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma. Forming around only 2% of the population, they are oftentimes our coaches and our teachers who inspire others to achieve and to do good in the world. Thoughtful and idealistic, these personality types strive to have a positive impact on other people and the world around them. They rarely shy away from an opportunity to do the right thing, even when doing so is far from easy. They radiate authenticity, concern and altruism, unafraid to stand up and speak when they feel something needs to be said. They're genuine, caring people who talk the talk and walk the walk, and few things bring Protagonists a deeper sense of joy and fulfillment than guiding friends and loved ones to grow into their best selves.
